I got a 4 track when i was 16 to just mess around...now im trying to dive into some serious recording. The two major things ive learned are to be patient, and to not have an ego. my two cents.

So what technique do you use? Apart from the patient one?

What technique? ..Dont know that ive found one that i can put my name on yet....right now, the technique that sounds the best. Inspirations are layers and large rooms. Im a visual person.

There is a guy around here named "statistick" who needs to learn a couple of things from you......

What, no ego? So that's what I've been doing wrong! All this time I thought it was trying to record crappy musicians with bigger egos than mine. Too bad we can't just put a box by the door with a sign saying, "LEAVE YOUR EGO HERE."
