Lost in the music, baby!! :D

I will say I think my ultimate multitrack doesn't really exist, but could be built...a 3M M-56 in 2" Trim but with a custom headblock assembly loaded with 2" 8-track Flux Magnetics heads.

There was a time I would have asked for AIR Studios in Montserrat but, unfortunately, tons of volcanic ash don't help the acoustics. Still, just like lava lamps, every studio should have a swimming pool and a Caribbean beach!

Oh Shit!!! That's the studio I was talking about in my first post!!!

Yikes!!! Oh well. Scratch that one off the list.
:D

But then again, with unlimited funds it 'could' be restored.

Hey! Doesn't David Gilmore have a studio on a boat? That would be cool.......eh nah. England is too cold.

On a more practical note, Silvia Massey's former studio is just about an hour up the road. That place has some history too.
Still, it would fall into the 'needing unlimited funds' category to outfit it.

Air Studios is familiar to me because one of my very favorite bands recorder there...The Police.

David Gilmour's studio moored on the Thames is lovely though. About ten years ago I was lucky enough to do sound on a video shoot there. (Well, less luck and more calling in favours...)
