Hey,
I just read something about this Line 6 Guitar Port and couldn't find any answers. With this thing can you save and play riffs stored onto your computer?
I just bought/put together my very first computer and put an enormous amount of memory in it because I'd love to tool around with art and music on it.
I'm not too savvy with technical stuff such as computers and when I saw this I thought it looked pretty simple.
Can anyone tell me if the program that comes with Line 6 can record and save your work? That asset alone would be really rad and much better than using my old tape recorder to remember material.
Regardless of whether it can or can't save on it's own is there any program that anyone recommends to begin home recording on to accompany using the guitar port? In a search I found this website with someone mentioning they use Cool Edit with it. I'm not familiar with this one, does anyone have any other suggestions? It would be neat to play and save multiple tracks too.
Thanks,
RiskyJ.C.
