I'm thinking some sort of "aural exciter" type box, because of the low mix, high mix, and process, controls

well I am thinking this is the piece of equipment I have been missing all this time...

GLI has a warehouse in Brooklyn, NY, where they manufacturer there own line
of inexpensive audio gear. I own 4-15" horn-loaded loudspeakers (250w @ 8ohms) and a GLI PA-1000 500 watt power amp. Pretty decent stuff that's just 1/2 step better than Behringer.
The item listed is a parametric freq'y control to adjust the lo, mid and hi bands
and mix them to create a unique sound (similar to what Aphex does with it's exciters). It's not recommended for tracking or mixing but rather in "live" formats.

Although this would appear to be some kind of mastering processor or frequency 'exciter', I'm guessing it's a serious piece of crap. Really.

My guess is since they want to sell it so cheap, you may be right. I think we found the hardware version of the ellusive turd polisher...

i had an aural exiter once, real happy that i sold it,
i wouldn't spend a minute thinking about buying this thing.
i'm trying to get me a dbx163x for the same price,
think thats more useful to me :D

If you had an oral exciter, I bet you never would have got rid of it.... :D

it's a sound processor...duh
it....processes sounds!

and it has a fuse holder!! amazing!!

I could use one of those... All my gear I have to hold the fuses by hand, but I'm working on a way to use paper clips and duct tape to solve the problem. If I get a good design, I'll probably start a company and sell em to you guys for cheap...

Right now I'm thinking use the tape to tape it on, and paper clips for looks? That should work I think...

Yeah, that is pretty funny.

It also says it has "audio out".

I'll believe that when I hear it.
