TerraMortim New member Dec 5, 2007 #2 wav or aiff are just as good as any. They are uncompressed PCM audio, which means it'll be as good of quality as your going to get on a digital system.

Danny, I'm not sure I understand. If I did all my tracks in 24 bit, I still have to save them in 16 bit if I want to get them onto a CD, no?

No, if you're just backing up or archiving the files, you would just save them to to a data CD-R not as CDA music files to a music CD-R. G.
