what is the best way to create submix?

i am thinking about doing submix like this
setting SENDOUTto EQ their frequency in one aux send
but i want their sound only from send return
i guess this way the dry sound from the channels still sounding?
How can i mute the original dry sound and have only the wet in my mix?
though i been messing with mixing for some time
i'm still confused about this

I'm guessing you are not a native english speaker and I think I may understand your question.

If you want to just record the ouput of the EQ then just run the EQ into your recorder instead of back into the mixer. Monitor on the recorder.
