I guess I'll put in my two cents!
I have a Dragonfly,it's very good for what your trying to do.
A definite good pop rock mic.
Clean and a very airy top end.
Really cuts through a dense mix.
Works great on doubling and harmonies.
Good on acoustic fingerpicking, and supposed to be one of the best for micing a guitar cab.
I think it's a great mic,but I lean towards a warm,woody acoustic sound.
I'm going to pick up a V67 tommorrow and try it.
Iv'e heard several recordings around here with it,and it always leaves me with the same impression, rich and warm.
Sounds like a warm 4033 to me.
Just because you have a thousand, dosn't mean you have to spend a thousand to get what you want!
Listen to some stuff in the clinic, see what mic there using, and Definitly go somewhere and try it out if you can.
Just my 2 cent's!
Good Luck,
Pete
