What is the best software for Vocalist

Hi I enjoy singing and haved used several tascam's model before for singing with tracks but I don't have my tascam anymore and
I wanted to know if there would be any program out there that emulates a mixer (tascam like) with similar functionality for vocal.
Most of the stuff out there that I seen is for musicians.

Is this possible to do and what kind of mic conversion would I need to input the signal either through my laptop or desktop.
