hey you might also notice this is my first post, hello everyone. i was just wondering what the snake charmer flute is really called.

I don't think that type is called a recorder; did you check out the site?

There are three types there. The recorder, I believe, is a more recent instrument.

thanks for that link, it didnt tell me what it was called, but at least i can buy one. i also noticed they have em on ebay for like 23 bucks
 
I thought, according to the link, it was called a shahnai.
