I did give you some feedback in amother thread. although If you would like to gift me with one great. It could be used in a stereo pair with the one I have now I bought from the dude in kansas city. It has a great smooth sound, Im using it with my presonus bluetube and getting good results.

I have some friends that are interested in buying one as well. One of them is an independant filmmaker who has a small budjet but would give you a special thanks credit for a donation of one of these.

Im going to play a bad guy in this flick (I'm a scumbag dude with a pencil thin mustache). If everything works out hello hollywood.

Alan,
I heard this morning that the new shipment of C1's are going thru customs in Melbourne at the moment.
Mick Wordley has my order and is sending one along with additional literature ASAP, although I expect at least 2 days transport time from Mick, so I may not see it until next Monday.
All being well I will be "showcasing" it to others by later the following week.

Peace...........ChrisO

Darrin,

With all due respect, if I gave everyone a mic for some kind of testamonial, I would go broke. I did not see your other post, but I knew you got one so I was just curious.

If you make it to Hollywood, then your in my neck of the woods, so look us up. Hmmm scumbag dude with a pencil thin mustache, your not playing Dudley Dooright are you? LOL :D:

Hey Chris,

Good news, I am anxious to hear what you have to say about the mic. This distribution thing is hard, it takes way to much time for shipping.

Take care guys, and happy recording!

Accually its a martial arts thing. Im hasseling a chinese resturant for thier lease so I can expand my discoteqe. I get to be a real dick.

It's Thursday morning and I love it when a plan comes together.
My C1 that I didn't expect to see for a few more days is here..........wwwwwwwhhhoooooooooo. Sorry, just had to say that. LMAO.
Now to get hold of some Rodes, AKG's and hopefully a U87 and play games.

Peace............ChrisO. :D :D :D :D :D :D

My Full Compass flyer came today toting the Studio Projects stuff, advertising getting that "German sound".......

Personally, I like an RE20 on the female vocalist that I am working with. All the time used for around 300 smackers.

For the record, I had nothing to do with that Full Compass flyer, or any ad they may have done. Any copy they used, was used by them with no influence from me.

Just wanted to let you all know that. :D:

Was it a song for your "Songs of the Chinese Buffet" compilation CD?

Okay...... with all the hoopla I just had to go try the C1 today. It sounded okay on my voice but there was one little problem- all my "R"s sounded like "L"s........ no shit! "Fried Rice" came out "Flied Lice"!!!!:D

I had a similair problam trying out a Neumann. Every time I gently sang "I love you" it sounded like I was screaming "ACHTUNG!!!".

By the way,, found a article discussing ethics of chinese mics on Prorec:

Queue, I'm eating my prior words about room ambience concern,
as relates to high sensitivity mikes like the C1. In fact, one is due
to arrive for me at my local dealer next week.

It's because there's a local studio where the vocal room can be
rented on the cheap. Where there's the will-there's a way to
tame the ambience beast, it's just that I hate singing in my
walk-in closet. Expect to see my unvarnished review soon,
not that I'm any expert!

C7sus,
Man, I see u post and help people here, then I see the post tellin the shit you're goin through with the ex and how you handle your responsibilities as a father..................I think "cool" this guy is not too bad. Then I see you post about Chinese mics and related shit and all I can think is to tell you "Fine, have your opinions, as it is your right, but keep them where they belong.........WITH YOU......not here"
Do I agree with the Chinese way of doing things................I don't have the right to judge, as I wasn't raised in their culture.
Would I want to live in their culture.........NO WAY.
Would I buy a Chinese made mic..............YEP, I have.

Most importantly.....DO I have the right to attempt to IMPOSE my beliefs and opinions on others as you (and the Chinese) seem intent on doing..............NO FUCKING WAY.

Rant over.........

Peace......ChrisO

I agree completely with you c7....the salesperson at Abe's assured me that the Marshall MXLv67 i just ordered was made in the USA....

and I said it once and Ill say it again....how can you hate Russians when there is Anna Kornikova......

Yes indeedy,

Anna is the bomb. And the former USSR is chock full of more just like her.

I have it from good source that the C in C-1 actually stands for Connecticut. Yep they're really made in the U.S.A. Alan just pretends they're made in China because it's the latest rage.

Don't hate the Chinese c7sus. Give love a chance......

ANYBODY that lives in the West shouldn't need to read an article about the ethics of Chinese mics. There is no ethic to Chinese mics. It's all backwards engineered ripoffs of legit manufacturers. What else is there to know? Whatever these guys know about mics and just about anything else except for noodles and fireworks they stole from the guy that figured it out first. ANY Chinese business that is described as "state run" is run by the Chinese Army. What else do you need to know? 15 years ago when Raygun was in office nobody here would have crossed the street to piss on a Russian if they were on fire. But today it's fashionable to buy shit from commies that use slave labor and shoot people that disagree with their policies. Go fuckin figure.

your symbol seems to be of oriental descent.. now do you wish they get paid zero dollars? evidentally the low paid people over there still need jobs..

Ive got an Idea If you are so mad at them why dont you post in the cave.

Oh thats right you allready have.

I personally dont like human rights atrocities any more than you do but without a way to work those people will not be able to feed thier families, As wrong as it is to allow this to go on,It is also wrong to starve them.

Its an excelent mic by the way, hats off to them.
