What if I cant find any Rigid Fiberglass?

Will the spray adhesive/saran wrap combo be of any consequence as far as absorption or the reflection of highs?
 
A much debated topic.

The people in the know seem to think that it makes the absorbers somewhat more reflective to higher frequencies, but that the net effect is probably negligible.

I used saran wrap and when that ran out I bought a 0.7 mil painter's drop cloth. You can get the 12' x 9' size for under a dollar at Lowes.
 
Phyl, just the right idea IMO - John Sayers used slightly thicker plastic in one of his studio builds, and says it records perfect. Just bright enough, etc - I think anywhere from 1/2 to 2 mil would work, the thicker would likely reflect a bit further down the spectrum without hurting the majority of the sound... Steve
