Some of you guys out there are like me. You're doing tracking on your PC using a good mixing tool, but you aren't getting the final sound you want.
I found out what MY problem was.
I decided to chuck it up and go get a wave editor, I got WaveLab. I run my final mix through this, apply some of the mastering tools, and WOW. I actually have volume and a really full sound. I knew I had to be missing something and this is what it was. Now I am looking at some of the cool plug ins that go along. Too bad this stuff is SO expensive. I mean, thats all cool for you guys making $ on doing it, but I do it just for my band.
Anyways, just wanted to share this for those of you who are more in the boat I am in and less for you guys who have the big stuff and know how to use it.
