this is a recording that i made a while ago with my friend we didnt have a bass player at the time and i didnt know about hr.com so the recording is O.K. this is with all crappy nady mics and a MXL 990 for vocals ....so whatever its pretty cool

Well, there seems to be an issue with when you do the chord change on the words "you know". I think it should happen about a beat sooner. I would have liked to see some of the drums panned a bit more. Nice tune. It's better than the client song you posted... Keep it up, you guys are definitely getting better...
 
Actually, I haven't listened to that song in quite some time, so I may be mistaken... :o
 
yeah now we got a bass player and we play mostly stevie and hendrix so ill be posting that once i get a new drumset

i hope you don't act the same way when your sober because your an asshole... we were way younger and used all crappy equipment i know its not the best but that was the best we could do at the time...we were 13 :mad:

Tell you what. The sound aint bad at all. The cover is good if u were 13 or 16 when u did it.
And do me a favour, act as jake-owa didn't exist.
If all he has to say is that this is crap, he don't know young potential when he hears it. Tell him to post his mixes from the same period, hehe.
A 13 year old (or 16) recording, playing and singing like this can get as far as they want. It's all about practice. Continue on your path guys; you can be great in the longer run.
And now I have to defend myself; jake-owa is after me.
