What do you think of the Oberheim Matrix 1000?

I did a lot of recording at a studio back in 1996 that had two of them, and we used them a lot on the album. I think they are excellent for classic analog sounds. It's basically a box of sounds - I don't believe they are programable from the synth itself, but there might be some computer software program available for that. I'd say, go for it if it's a good deal.
 
Nice box. Rack version of the Matrix 6

Digital oscillators ala Roland Juno's. (actually very similar feature wise to and designed to compete with)

There are two on ebay with buy it now for 270 USD, so dont pay more than that
