The fact is many people do believe Trump will ‘save’ us. Hence, ‘Savior’.

I speak my mind as I see fit, and try to avoid insulting and attacking other members.

Nothing in my post about Trump was overtly or covertly directed at you.

It was not taken personally.
The word "Savior" was selected by the left -- to lump evangelicals in together with a Trump-messiah -- to give it more substance than what it actually has.
It is true that evangelicals support Trump for the most part. It is false that they think he is a Messiah.
Apparently you weren't aware of the innuendo that erases that distinction and makes it sound like evangelicals think Trump is the second coming of a Messiah.
No evangelical thinks that. The left wants you to believe otherwise.
That's okay. I'm used to it.
Just be aware that you are using left-speak.
It is designed to deceive.

I disagree. Maybe the ‘left’ has co-opted the term ‘Savior’, but it has been around for a long long time in the context of a savior being one who saves or rescues another or others. Similar to knight in shining armor.

Anyway, the term doesn’t bother me.

Obama was viewed as a ‘Savior’ too.

The important issue is to realize that there is no man who will come to save you.

And the people who believe Trump will come back into power and save them are fools.

He did some good, but did a lot of bad.

Were we better off after 4 years of the Donald? I don’t think so.

And in 4 more years, we’ll probably be even worse off.

Cynical? Maybe. Just looking at the trajectory we’ve been on.

the good:
Epstein would still have his island, if it were not for Trump.
The Clinton crime family is on the ropes.
The intel agencies were exposed as frauds.
The election system was exposed as a fraud.
The news media was exposed as a fraud.
Gas prices looked good, after price manipulators couldn't get away with it, like they did under Obama.
Illegal border crossings slowed down, along with human trafficking and illegal drugs.
NO NEW WARS.

the bad:
the CCP would have held off on the virus, but they needed Trump gone.
The nation is more divided than ever, with ANTIFA and BLM emerging.

There are people that actually believe that evangelicals want Trump for their Messiah.

Rational people were the crazy ones for 4 years.
Likewise with the covid-virus that came with AIDS attached to it. Bats don't have AIDS. duh.
Likewise for the Jan 6 erection, that makes Adam Schiff shoot off in his pants.
Likewise for concerned parents at school board meetings, that don't want their kids raped in the restroom.

Believe me, I’m aware of the things we’re up against. And I AM one of these parents that they are so concerned about.

But we gotta pick our battles, I choose local, on the county level, where a difference can be made.
