What are your opinions of E 609's?

I went and talked to some mic buff at guitar center and he told me Senehiessers E609's beat shure 57's at everything.

What do you think? are they good buget mics? Better then 57's?

for gutiar cabs its easier to get a good sound than with a 57. a 57 can sound just as good but the 609 is really easy to place. it can make guitars really fat and punch through the mix. they have great isolation on cabs too.
