I'm exporting a song as a pcm/uncompressed wave at 44100[ i think thats the rate] Hz and 16 bit.

And yet, when I try to play it on the computer music player, it can't

I burn it to cd and play it on a cd player, and the track shows up with the track length it should have, but not sound comes out.

Make sure the correct output is selected and that it is set to stereo interleaved.

^ To elaborate

You have to specify an "output engine" to route the sound. You're gonna get nothing with dead outputs...It's just a drop down tab after you hit "audio mixdown". If you are having trouble, pull up your VST connections (F4) and configure your inputs/outputs, and all should be well...

And make sure none of your tracks are still armed (red light).

Make sure your tracks aren't muted. I've made that mistake.
