A traditional song we all sang in church when I was coming up. I always liked the melody and the sentiment. I’m a Bluegrass banjo player, but lately I’ve been trying to branch out a little bit and mix traditional country Guitar sounds with Banjos and Mandolins and such. I know a lot of people that would just scoff and say “ that ain’t Bluegrass”. I don’t care, as long as it’s Music. I used one mic for everything, an SM 7B, except bass and guitar were recorded direct. The bass is a Kala Ubass. The electric Guitar is a USA Peavey tele. Bridge pickup only with the tone knob rolled off a quarter turn. The drum is from an iOS app called “ drum beats plus rhythm machine”.
