Now stand in front of the mirror and say "Wharfedale" 21 times and make three wishes :)

Its been crazy around here. We bought a new house and sold ours. The problem is the new owners have moved all of their stuff in on top of use while we're trying to get packed and moved out.

Drop me a PM. I've been replimg to emails since last night.

Did you know your site is down? How do I place an order when the site is down?

yah i pm'ed you, no response, and your site is down deepwater....

Patience gentlemen.

I know it is not compatable with GAS but hang in there.

Deepwater always comes through but he does travel a bit with his full time job.

To me the better price is worth the wait but if you need imediate responses there are always the big online guys.

I am still loving my Wharfies David!

Where are you located? I don't know if my current situation will help you, but I'll share it anyhow. I'm in Canada, and deepwater recently shipped me a pair of Diamond Pro 8.2a monitors and a Wharfedale mixer. Each item was shipped separately (3 packages). Based on the tracking, two of the three have just arrived at the local FedEx depot, so I should have them today or tomorrow. The third is still at the Fedex drop site in deepwater's home area. I called my local Fedex and was told that the third package most likely has customs related paper work required and that the sender will have to deal with that (which deepwater has confirmed he'll immediately do). So, although I have two of the components arriving where no customs charges will apply, I suspect the third package may have attached, any associated fees, perhaps representing all three (but I'm not sure). With the U.S./Canada free trade agreement, I'm hoping for no fees, but it may depend on what the packaging says as to where the items are made (and the stated value). I'm hoping it says U.S. even though the gear is made in China (I think). Anyhow, when I find out more, I'll post to this thread -- unless this is info is of no value to you.

All items, two monitors and one mixer arrived today. It seems that the monitors, although packaged separately, were shipped under one of the three tracking numbers and the mixer was on another. The third that was lagging behind still in Georgia, I have no idea what happened with that. deepwater says they returned a monitor to him -- I PMed him to make sure he didn't send it. Anyhow, I haven't has the chance to try anything yet except to make sure they all had power, and even the blue lights on both monitors shone brightly. I'm looking forward to producing some good recordings with my new gear.

As for any extra charges, none appeared with the shipment. Maybe I will get something later, but actually, I have purchased some items (including a Carvin guitar acoustic amp) from the U.S. in past years and never received any extra billing. I strongly think there won't be in this case either. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the info.

Im located in Scotland so i think it will be a bit different than canada. I highly dought that ill get away with no import taxes. :(
