Ok, well, I have one of my songs on itunes, and in one point in the song, theres absolute silence. No tracks whatsoever, and whenever it gets to that part of the song, my computer freezes until a track starts again. Why?

Are you referring to a sequencer track?

Or an itunes track?

Please be more specific.

I'm referring to an audio segment on a track in cubase. For about seconds, I intentioanyy cut out all the audio sgements of all the tracks, and when it gets to this point of the song when I'm listening to the song in Itunes, my computer freezes up.

Did you select the tracks and hit "cut"? Is there a gap between where the song stops, and then starts, or is there silence?

I think Cubase would replace that with silence when rendering, but you could try instead of "cut", "Replace with silence".

Also, are you playing the WAV file in iTunes or did you convert it to MP3?

And what MP3 encoder did you use?
