I just reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled everything on my computer for maintenance purposes, but suddenly none of my mixes sound right anymore--everything sounds out of phase now, particularly the drums. I'm using version 3.3 of n-Track. My soundcards are a Delta 66 and a Delta 1010LT synced together. I'm using version 5.10.00.0046 of the drivers, and my OS is Windows XP. I know it doesn't have anything to do with my stereo, because when I play mixed wave files I made before I reinstalled my software, they sound fine. Does anybody know what I might do to resolve this?

Try examining the phase setting on the master channel (hard to find, but it is there). It enables n-Track to output the master channel out-of-phase, and this might be the culprit.

I've found that the very first project loaded into n-Track after installing the program changes several settings... - the pre/post send setting in the individual tracks etc. Just change the settings back and everything will be fine. Subsequent projects are not affected. I don't know the cause of this, but the problem seems to be minor.

regards, Nils

The FASoft Forum is back up and running after the Hacker attack.
Feel free to register over there and post your problems and inquiries as there is a far greater number of n-Trackers that frequent that board.
Not to say that the advice given here isn't as good, but you may reach a greater audience there.
