Weird Latency Problem

I'm a n00b Acid user so bear with me.

I lay down a drum track with PC Drummer by recording the wave out of my soundcard then loop it. Great. Fine. No prob.

I switch to recording to my mixer on the line in and record while the drum loop is playing. When I play it all back together the 2nd track is stretched or something. It comes in late and does not keep time with the drum track even though I played it in time with the drum track. If I play the guitar track by itself it sounds like I played it at a slower tempo.

Neither track is beatmapped. Both are One-Shot. Please help.

Don't have any answers for you, but I wanted to commend you on spelling weird correctly. Most of the time people spell it wierd. They forget that weird begins with "we" ;~)

You may want to try going to .... Options > Preferences > Audio tab ....
Place a check mark in the option "Automatically detect and offset for hardware recording latency".
If that doesn't work for you, you can manually set the amount of offset by deselecting the above option and use the slider to adjust the amount of offset required to get your subsequent recordings to match up with existing tracks.
Zoom in on the tracks and look at the timeline to determine how far out of sync the tracks are, then adjust accordingly.
