OK folks, got me Cubase SE installed finally, and taking my first stabs at recording. Well, here's a MAJOR dilemma/problem with it:

After I've recorded a track (on TK 1 for example) and go to record another, I hit the record button and before I can bat an eyelid, the audio on the previous track starts recording on the new one (TK 2 for example), it is FREAKY to say he least!!

I'm NOT a very techinical person but I'm wondering if ANYONE can help here iwth suggestions, maybe it's how something's routed in the computer, I don';t know, all I know is I'm going frickin' NUTS!!!

It's on a Windowns XP equipped machine with a CREATIVE Audigy 2 Z5 soundcard

Go to the Windows audio mixer (click the loudspeaker in the bottom right bar...) and go to the Recording Preferences. Uncheck "What You Hear" and ONLY have your line-in checked.

Creative turns this on by default to inject their EAX gaming effects and it does what's happening to you.
