I really like the Waves plugins. Recently installed IR1v2 reverb plugin, but neither cubase (vst32 and sx) nor wavelab will open it. They respond with an error to the effect that the plugin failed to load. My system meets the minimum requirements--512K RAM etc. Anyone got any pointers?

I'm sorry for asking but sometimes the obvious is overlooked. Is it in the right folder?

How is it identified in your plugin list in SX? Is it enabled?

Thanks for your replies. Yes, it is installed in the correct folder.
When I try to open it in VST32 it responds--Plugin not loaded; then, Plugin failed to install. VST does, however, list it as "loaded" with the proper check-mark in the DirectX plugins window.
When I try to open it in SX it responds--Plugin not loaded; then, Plugin failed to install. It is "yellow highlighted-out" (NO check-mark) in the Shared VST folder window, but it is properly listed (check-mark) in the DirectX folder window.
When I try to open it in Wavelab5 it responds--A serious error occured inside the plugin. Wavelab could control it, but etc etc...

Uninstall it and then reboot and reinstall it. Then reboot again and make sure that your software isn't running when you do this.

Sorry, but I have to ask... it this a purchased and registered version?

This is what I would do!

I just noticed this, I have waves diamond and after the install it did not put the plug-ins in the VST folder it has its own folder in the programs directory that says "waves" then in cubase in the plug-in drop down list it says "waves" and all of my plug ins are there.

Hope that helps ;)
