It looks like Waves has significantly modified its WUP policy. Here's the text of an e-mail I just received from Waves:

We are pleased to announce changes to Waves Update Plan.

Waves has put a cap on Update Plan fees. You can re-activate your Waves Update Plan now for $200 or less per bundle, no matter how long your coverage has been inactive.

If your Waves Update Plan is already up-to-date, Waves will extend your benefits accordingly.

Waves Special – you’ll receive a 45-day Waves Update Plan Credit toward the purchase of any product or upgrade, equal to the amount you spend on Update Plan coverage.
With Waves Update Plan, you’ll receive all supported host and platform compatibility updates, expert tech support, and new plug-ins added to bundles.

Contact your Waves dealer to find out how you can re-activate your Waves Update Plan today.
