Your CD burning software should give you the choice of burning these files as .cda (audio CD) or .wav (data CD) files. The conversion is handled by the burner software. Sonic Foundry's Siren claims to skip the .wav step entirely and they have a free download to try it for yourself. When you ask if any CD player will play that CD, I'd have to say, "No." Boomboxes, CD-ROM drives, car CD players and mini-component systems seem to be the ones most likely not to play CDR disks. But this doesn't mean they WON'T play them at all, just that playback is problematic.
