.wav to .mid

How do you convert a .wav to .mid ?

I have a program that will design drills for drill team's and sinc the music but it has to be done with a midi song.

The manual says to use either Finale or Cakewalk.

I have looked at the Cakewalk line but so much to chose from
and dont know which to get.

I cant find were to look for the Finale line.

You can convert single note melody wavs to midi fairly well, but there's no program available that is powerful enough to take a wav file of a typical song and convert it sucessfully to a midi file.

You should, however, be able to find almost any song in midi format by looking on the web. They are tiny files and as long as you have a decent sound card they will sound..well..decent
