Hi, new guy here. Great forum, by the way.

So, I am putting my studio together. Here is what I have so far:
Pc with dual 1.8 Ghz cores. Two gigs RAM.
cubase le 4
Presonus Firestudio
BFD lite
MXL 990 condenser Mic
My instruments.

I still need monitors. Any suggestions on good bang for buck budget oriented powered monitors?
What other essentials?

I also have lots to learn....that's where the forum comes in. I do plan to buy some books as well. Saw some recs in the newbie thread. Any others?
