So I want to build a recording studio up in my house, since there are lots of musicians up here (including me) but no place to record really. The main genres of music are Hard Rock/Punk Metal, Punk and Acoustic Rock/Rock. Now, I want to be able to record two people at a time (IE drummer + bassist together, etc) at least, more if I can. I also want CakeWalk because I can and because I've used it before, been taught a bit about it, so it's not new to me. A good example of a type of band I'd record would be my old band which recently broke up:

Anyways, here's the gear I have to START with (of course, I want it to be sufficient enough to create some decent recordings, but of course I'd add on to it)
499.99 TASCAM US-1641 Studio Package
199.99 Cakewalk SONAR 8.5 Studio
104.00 Shure SM57 Mic with Cable & Stand
129.99 Digital Reference DR-DRM7 7-Piece Drum Mic Kit with Case
179.99 AKG MiniAMP / K77 Headphone Four Pack
1,113.96
Is that good? Will it work together and fit my needs? My needs of recording two people at once together. My needs of recording acoustic AND electric instruments. The needs of recording drums, etc.
Thanks!
