Just left the loop of chicago for the hills of nor-cal...

Any reccomendations I am considering the Alesis M1 actives and the Event TR5-N Tuned Powered Reference Monitors and yeah I know you get what you pay for . . I want a good truthful monitior..ANy suggestions?

On a budget - Yorkville YSM1 are excellent value. There's also Tannoy Reveals - JSBLSR25 - KRK V6 or V8s - the new Events may also be good (but I haven't heard them).

Whatever you do, stay away from the Alesis Monitors....
