Great job dude. Get some compression on those vocals and drums and it will sound a little more polished. Keep at it.
 
the snare, vocal and the kick are compressed (well.the vocal realy had a limiter on it.) i glad that you liked it!

i use a fostex vf-16 daw recorder to record with, behringer composer pros (for compression and limiting) art tube pres,dw/pacific kit w/t zildjian, sabian, pastie and (gasp!) camber cymbals (ride only) the camber crashes suck but the rides rock!
sanota and croos guitars, zoom efx, and cakewalk pyro (for mp3 incoding)

Ahhh.... foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.... beautiful.

I waited until today to hear your cover of "Come Together" so I could listen to it on some reference monitors.

Pretty impressive, as well. If I played all the parts, sang and engineered that song... it would suck.

Keep it up... whether it will ever pay your bills is not important.

In your case, you've got a better chance of it paying off than most that actually do make it.

I'm just as astounded and impressed as the rest of these guys.

I couldn't tell you what a compressor was at your age.. I think I'm impressed the most by the songwriting.
An extremely well thought out piece with several significant movements of pace.
I'm barely that ambitious now.

Good job Zekester. Good playing. I liked the song. Look out Hanson, Zeke's got your number.

Some suggestions. Harmonies? This song is full of opportunites to use them. It would greatly improve the song. Vocally, work on some of the notes that are held for a few seconds. There's some bobbles here and there. You'll get there - you certainly have plenty of time.

Bring down the vox just a bit. Bring up the lead guit a bit.

Keep at it - great job.
