groovejunkie,
I've gotton so lazy with my drum machine, just used a preset, and kept it low, so it wouldn't stand out.
This was definately a 1.5 recording.
I did however have to practice the main rif quite a bit. It was a little harder to keep smooth, than I first imagined.
I also had to play it close to the bridge, to get that biting treble sound. I'm much more used to playing up by the neck pickup.
What guitar did George Harrison use on this?
Thanks for the listen
erichenryus,
Yeah, that seems to be the majority rule on the tone. I have never really been that picky on tone, it may be time to start.
Another toy to add to the list, a Boss 7 band stomp box eq, yes, no? Anyone have one of these?
sjcrts,
Thanks for taking the time to listen, and critque. I appreciate it much!!
Toki,
Thanks, this kind of structured rif has allways been tough for me.
It's not that it's a hard rif, but the repetivity of it, seems to make it waiting for a mistake to happen.
Any of you know what I mean, or is it just me?
