hi i'm a newbie building a recording studio and i whant to know if I can put a wall plate and if it's viable how do I connect it do I have to put two (wall to wall) or what?

You might want to expand on exactly what you are trying to do.
ie. 1) What type of jacks do you need?
2) What are you trying to connect between rooms?
3) What is in the walls ? heh.
For me, I used many small wall mounts (both XLR & TRS) ordered from www.partsexpress.com. You can get pre-mounted ones in many different configurations but you have to solder them yourself.
The more info you provide. The more help the rest of us can provide
