Flailing up a storm.
Won one of these on ebay last night, waiting for it to come. I meant to shop around for a nother month but damn the iphone ebay app that just makes it so easy to follow every interestig auction down to the last second.

I'm not sure if this is going to be the end-all for me, but from everything i have read, it has some great potential and has the ability to do a couple different soudns well (although not dual channel, so manual knob twiddling for each different sound). Can't imagine being too dissapointed for about $400 shipped used (supposedly in great condition). I figure I should be able to get most of that back if i turn it over to try out something else down the road.

I think i read some one evaluate one here recently which got me started on researching, thanks for that. Anyone else have opinions? Next step is to figure out if i keep the other amps i have or start selling them off (currently have a 90's blues deluxe, a blues JR with upgraded speaker, an old lafayette 12 watter, and a 50s or early 60s "gretch" (valco) that probably has about 5 watts.) Well... reading that list, i think i need to think things out a bit.

That's exciting man! I really want one of those! Every review I've read says it's great and every demo I've watched sound great. Good luck with it!

Some initial responses,

Overall, i am really pumped, it definitely is a different sound than my other amps, and better still, it is a lot of 9good) sounds in one. It absolutely changes a great deal with some simple knob adjustments, lots of variation.

Pretty simple and straight forward, plugged it into my cab (two actually an avatar 1x12 with a hellatone V30 and an open back with the same speaker chained together) and added the effects loop and was good to go.Small and pretty light, well built and looks great.

I've only put about 30 minutes into it trying out some different tones, but there seems to be plenty here to work with. The manual has some pretty good suggestions for settings to get started with.
