Hello. I have maybe stupid question: Is there some vst plugin whitch can remove lisping? I know that there are deessers but I can't find something like I described.. sorry for my english.

No, there is no plugin that can do that. I would be really surprised and skeptical if there were a plugin that could do that.

It depends how bad it is. You might be able to the opposite of a de-esser and boost the extreme highs.

Mic choice can play a part. I remember reading about Anthony Keidis and the sm7b being chosen because it didn't accentuate the lisp thing he has going on.

The real answer is technique though. If it's possible, try to get it at the source.

thanks for help. i have one more question, i dont wat to start new topic. I have some "clicks" ("K", "G" etc) after compression. Deesser doesn't help it. What can i do about it?

Automation on the volume envelope to remove the clicks. Or re-record. make sure your mouth is not too wet, use a pop filter and back off from the mic.

Lisping can be a sign that you've over-compressed the vocal track.

Just as a test, what happens if you bypass the compressor?

Also, if the lisping is not the recording and the actual voice, it could be one of those good things that make the voice unique. A lot of singers out there that are not that good that have made good money with it.

I have noticed on some of my recording there is a lisping sound and the culprit was compression (my abuse of it).
