vst instrument playback problem

I have written a midi track using the my creativelabs audigy sound card synth a neon for the bass line, lm9 for the drum part and universal sound module for another synth. When i try and play the song the creative sounds play back but the neon lm9 and universal sound module dont! there is no midi out shown on the transport bar when i solo these but i have no clue as to what might be causing this! if any one can help i would be most grateful.

Did you check on the inspector window (to the left of the track) what is in your Midi OUT?

May be you only get sounds from the one Cubase have selected as default. Select the bunch of OUTS you have when you click on this, and also set the channel, program and bank, if necessary.

If you don't find them, then you need to make Cubase to recognize them.

What you cannot hear are external modules or internal ones?
