I need a recommendation for a VST plugin used to probram drums, which can be synced to SX and use sounds from another virtual instruments like Kontakt or Battery.

Anyone ?

Thanks

Waldorf Attach was pretty cool. Not sure if it's still around, but I used it a couple time a few years ago.

I think you would be better off with another sampler though. They tend to do what you want a bit better than dedicated drum plugins. Meaning excepting wider variations of formats. Maybe check out Motu's Mach Five.

AS I said, I'd like to program the patterns on one plugin but use the samples on Kontakt or Battery. The element that is missing in those types of samples is the pattern/song programming.

I'm not sure of what you're asking for. But I can only imagine that U R either talking about talking:
A) Loading Battery samples to another soft sampler.
This really doesn't make sense since you essentially will be STILL using your sequencing program for "pattern/song programming" via midi or piano roll with really no difference in results

B) Using Battery samples with a program that has pre-made patterns that you could edit if you should choose.
Musiclab Slicydrummer you'd have to GM map your samples for the intended results.plus you have to have a program that support mfx plugins

C)Loading Battery samples into a step sequcing type program.
1.Set a loop point in your sequencer and use its piano roll editor, (or drum editor if its Steinberg) insert your drum hits one by one, then adjust velocities to get a bit of texture.
2. U could rewire Reason and use Redrum
3.Use Musiclabs Slicydrummer and step edit from a blank pattern.

What I ment was if there's any VST instruments that acts just like the old and good hardware drum machines , and to which you can load samples (SF2 / Wav / Akai) so you can program drums like you do on srum machines but still be able to load up samples and to sync it's clock to the host (SX, Sonar)

I don't really like to use the piano rolls

Option C2 on the list i gave is prolly as close as ur gonna get. Although u wont be able to tap out your drum hits, you'll be able to create loops up to 64 steps that will loop constantly like a drum machine in sync rewired to SX or Sonar
