Does anyone know where I can find a library of the best plugins either VST or DirectX- looking especially for a harmonizer and automatic pitch/note corrector

You might also want to try peer to peer software like Kazaa, found at kazaa.com where I have seen some plugins traded. Mind you none of this is legal, but if you want to try before you buy I spose there's nothing wrong with that.

Right?

Anyone?

Be aware that KaZaA is massively, humongously spywared. They didn't develop this thing and give it away for their health. Check out your firewall action.

Uh, you _DO_ run a firewall, don't you?

correction

Run Kazaa AND Zone Alarm. And shut down Kazaa when you aren't using it. And turn the lights off. Save some electricity, I'm not made out of money you know.

[wanders off muttering]

This doesn't even begin to touch the problem. Honestly.

Speaking of the plug-ins, how on earth do you invoke them in Cubasis/Cubase? They're all there checked on their little pull-down list, but I can't seem to get them brought up. Helpfile is typically useless on the subject.

Helpfiles are there to puff the product, not actually help anyone.

If you open up any of the views from the panel menu (especially VST Send Effects & VST Master Effects) you can click on the No Effects label and a list of available effects will drop down. click on the effect you want then click the edit button to access the parameter controls for the effect.
