I installed VSampler 2.74 recently on my XP machine. When I tried to use I only got "stuttering" sound... Do I have to disable DirectSound or what /how should I do? Thanks in advance.

VSampler Forum
There's an excellent forum for VSampler V2 - I don't have the URL right now. If you Google for VSampler it should pull up the link. It's something like www.maz-shop.com Look for the FAQs which are very comprehensive. You can also post direct to the VSampler 2 forum.
Currently VSampler3 is in Beta3 test. You should have a look at that, it's light years ahead of V2 and is going to be a serious contender on the sampler market.

Too late. They already affiliate you, old pal. At least in my head. Everytime I fire my VS 2.74 I kinda remember your name... Stuck in my head. And first time I read this thread, somehow I had a feeling you'll show up and post a reply. I knew it... I just knew it...

Let's put it this way Jaymz, I'm not on their payroll
Having been through the frustration of owning GigaSampler LE, I was mightily glad when VS3 included Giga instrument import.
GSLE plays under CakeWalk, but won't allow recording. The sound quality of Gigas is just fantastic. Those samples are stunning in their realism.
VS3 also imports soundfonts. Really, what more could you ask for in a sampler?
You and I both know how to import SF2s into VS2.74, don't we Jaymz???
It's even easier in VS3.

...Yeah man, VS rulez. Cakewalk should consider to put it bundled with their next release of their products. It's very usefull and make it easy. Once again, thank's "uncle".

Thanks guys. Looks more cooler than the old one. I wish the real one comes soon. Also I wish they'll allow free upgrade for current version users.

Well now, there's a thing, I thought CakeWalk did bundle VS2 with SONAR! I wonder what made me think that? They certainly mention Virtual Sampler on their web site in the DXi section.James Argo said:
