Anyone have any favorite effects to master with?

Outboard gear -- I'm not too fond of the MTKs. I did a lot of tweaking, and they sound ok if not being pushed, but then it gets ugly, IMO. Perhaps I haven't tried enough, though

My DBX rack compressor, I run EVERYTHING through it come mastering time!

Good question. The only outboard I have currently is the FMR RNC 1773 and an Alesis Microverb III. I've heard that the built in effects of the VS-880VX are cool, but not that great for mastering. I've yet to try them....Any sugggestions?
