vs 880/pc

I called roland support about the file transfering dilema and they said that I could load all 880 tracks into a 2480 and then execute a "save as wave file" and all virtual tracks would be saved and numbered as individual wave files that could then be burned to cd-- Now if I could only find a 2480--? Seems like they'd make the software available... Hope this helps anyone with the same problem...

Load? Loaded how? Would you be introducing an unnecessary step which would further deteriorate the data?

A Spdif capable soundcard and recording software are a lot cheaper than a 2480.
