I'm looking to buy an amp that can cover a lot of bases pretty well. I record quite a bit, which attracted me to this amp in the first place, and I play all types of music. I gig somewhat frequently, usually in a bar setting, so 30 watts plus a 57 if I really need it should suffice. I know there are MANY other modeling amps out there. I don't like the Line 6 ones, but haven't really tried out the Fenders or some of the others. I know that no one amp will be perfect in every situation, but need something that will perform admirably in this price range in most settings. Thanks for your input.

I agree with you about the the Line 6 in comparison with the Vox Valvetronix line. The Vox is really great sounding stuff. I am close to picking up the AD120VTH head.

Good to know. Thanks, Riffy, not to be confused with Raffi, I hope.

Yeah I'm all done with singing about "eeples and beneenees". :p

I have the AD60VT. It's the best modeler I've played. I haven't recorded it but for live it covers a lot of ground and does it pretty well. I need to try to get some of that Vox tone on tape.
