I just thought I'd throw out a note on the AC4. I tried it the other day and I love it! I'm not a gear snob or anything, so I don't know all of the details that people may end up asking, but ....
If you are in the market for a low-wattage tube amp for recording or practice I would have to vote for this little guy. They really do sound nice. On the 4 watt setting they have really nice headroom and a great clean sound. You can get it to crunch too, but it's got nice clean headroom. On the one watt setting you get really great blues or rock distortion at very liveable levels. The 1/4 watt setting isn't ALL THAT different from the one watt, but it's a nice feature. Anyway, I just thought I'd toss out this recommendation.
