This doesn't really have to do with recording, but just with practicing in general. How is everyone running their vocals? We are doing ours through the mic into a powered mixer and then out to a monitor. What are some better setups? Ecspecially something that doesn't involve a powered mixer.

If you have a "voice processor," you can come off the line out straight to your monitor system, without going through a powered mixer. If not you can use an unpowered mixer to get the same results.
