Well, first off, I am not that great of a singer to start with. Then I am not real familiar with this song, and haven't listened to it in ages. Add in the different timing, and I am completely LOST. :eek:

I am going to take another stab at it tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath....

I think what I'm going to do -because I realise my adaptation might be confusing - is map out what goes over what bars, in my version anyways. I'll do this tomorrow, to give people a reference. I skimped on the choruses; the refrian is heard twice. I also left a four bar intro and a bridge. I'll have a good guide done tomorrow.

Not being a good singer has never stopped me... :D

The original even has some odd timings with where the words go....I think you just need to wing it a bit. Mine sounds terrible just from my voice.... :eek:

I can't seem to make a consistent sound at all. I've done a few passes I thoght might work, but after a few listens, I start laughing.... :D

I applaud effort Dogman; when I sang it some bits worked, some were awful!! And yeah, once you know the general layout of something, you can fill it out with 'yeah's 'oooh's and 'ah's :)

That's how it went for me. I wasn't blaming you or the song, it's my inability to sing that's at fault here. :D

The things I listed just made an impossible task that much more difficult!

haha it's all good man. What does it mean if some bits are good and some are bad? We just get lucky with certain vocal parts?
 
NL....here's where I am at so far.

Hunger Strike Scratch

I'm having about as much luck with this as with The Pusher...and after 2 weeks I parked that one for a bit. I'm gonna try this a few more times tomorrow, if my voice comes back.... :o

Thought I'd see how you guys are doing...I think I sent about 8 files, but I've forgotten who's in at this point!
 
Sorry I've gotten nothing done besides loading it up. My cold turned into the flu and then my studio was torn apart for upgrades and last and not least I went and got a new dog last night.

The pup is stuck to me and I can get nothing done now :D I will try to work it in though.

Oh.... Meet "Gibson" the new pup.
