Anyone have any experience with lower-end vocal processors? I saw one by Digitech in my latest Musician's Friend catalog, think it was around $200. Sort of like a guitar floorboard processor, but for vocals.

I'm looking for something that will enhance my crappy singing for some demos I'm doing in n-track. Something that will add depth, smooth things out, maybe do double-tracking, pitch correction......Want to sound the best I can for the least amount.

I'm recording direct to my soundcard's "line in" jack, too.

if you can, a little distortion can go a long way. put some overdrive on the bottom end. If your voice is that crappy (and i speak from experience here, i can sing, but my voice is super weak) it might be worth doing the whole lot. if not, try doubletracking with distortion on only one.

or just whack a whole shitload of effects onto it until it's barely recognisable. that's what i did.
