vocal effect future

There were a few different things going on. There were several vocal lines going on at the same time, some were rapid fire, others moved slowly. Their position against one another made an interesting listen. But that's not really an effect.

I heard some autotune (I'd guess). But that's the only "effect" I heard. The rest was just straight ahead singing.
 
I've personally found that for rap vocals you need to make sure to compress them hard. I usually tend to add a bit of distortion (but barely noticeable) Here's a rap mix I did, you'll hear the compression that i'm talking about, it helps the vocals stay in your face:



Generally other than auto tune, rap vocals don't have a whole lot of FX such as reverb or delay going on.
