so how r u VM200 owners diging it, on paper it looks like one great sounding mixer, is it?

Been playing with ma nu 200'n VR800. Clarity'n usability R topz. Used the 200 as mini live mixer wiv 3 vocals, guitar and trombone in church on Sunday. Bit ov chorus on the guitar, and solo voice effect on the vocals. Sounds as good as our Soundcraft LX7 analog and Behringer graphic and effects, cost a third the price and has automation so you don't get lost live. Not what I bought it for, but shows its class! VR800 recording of live stuff is so accurate that playing back after the session is surreal. The guitar (passive cct) piezo still prefers to see some high impedance before the mixer, and there is no onboard compression.

I like it alot. Perfect for what I want to do, which is hard drive record to my PC. Now if I can find the right interface card...
I have been thru the "alesis PCR", don't care for the software at all, and am now looking at using a "Frontier Design Wavecenter", or WavePro424 with light pipe option, or other. So far, based on data sheets and price, these are the two to look at. I appreciate any suggestions anyone may have regarding this. Also need inputs on studio monitor.
