hey everyone, i'm wondering what the point of a virtualizer, like an effects prosessor, is that like an elaborate guitar pedal or... something else

It is, as in like, virtual.
Like being similar to; as opposed to the same as or indeed a redundant word in the string of them.
Do you actually mean the Virtualiser Pro unit or something like the VP but, like, not actually it?
Do a review search at Hoarmony Central - good sppot for such as you require.
OR do a search in this forum as it's nerer to hand and, like, handy.

.......I bought a Behri Virtualizer Pro at a Guitar Center while gigging in Minneapolis. It is far and away the worst piece of gear I have ever owned. If you like a high background noise floor and 'Ultra' crappy delays then this would be the unit for you. Otherwise I would look elsewhere. That is just my experience though, ymmv.
