OK.. now, I probably should have posted this AFTER I got back from vacation (which starts tomorrow), but I figured I'd post it anyway, and check it when I get back (in a week and a half).

I ran into this guy, who's been playing out for like 40+ years, decided he's not gonna play anymore, and wants to clear out his basement. He's looking for prices/offers on the following (not a complete list.. he's got quite a few wacko guitars and stuff.. I didn't have the time to write them all down)

1987 Les Paul Classic
Fender Mustang
Gretch electric (wierd.. has a bunch of switches for Comp, Phase.. yadda, yadda)
A couple of B.C.Rich's
Casio Midi Electric guitar with on-board synth and MIDI out (I told ya... wierd)

um... lessee... gotta think here....

EchoPlex (remember those?) in way nice shape...

Fender Super Reverb (Pre CBS) with Celestion speakers (4x10) pretty nice and could be cleaned up sweet)
Fender Super Reverb (Fender.. Div. of CBS) on casters(has Fender Speakers, but a 1/4 inch jack where the master vol pot should be:confused: )
A couple of tube Silvertone heads


and a multitude of wierd guitars, banjos(like around 30 or 40).. and he's got more shit in his attic. Anyone interested, PM me... and give me a week and a half to get back to ya (vacation, remember?) Make an offer... I'll get pics for anyone interested in anything. I'll try to get a list of more stuff when I get back as well.

I'm a student and poor as hell but have been wanting to learn to play banjo for a long time. If there's a good condition resonably proced closed back banjo in the lot (Mahogany or Sapele back maybe with a good skin) I'd be interested in seeing some pictures. Talk to you when you get back. BJ

OK folks, I'm back from vacation (grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr), so I'm going to do my best to get over to the guy's house either during the week or on the weekend to get some fairly good representative pics of the equipment that peeps have shown interest in. I'll also try to get some ballpark figures as to what he may be looking for.

From what I could see, the two crown amps were in nice shape. I didn't turn them on to test them, but I don't see any reason why they didn't work, as the did when he stopped using them in his DJ set-up.

He also has a few of banjos, and one or two mando's and violins hanging around as well.

I'll do my best to get models/serials, etc off of the items and, again, get some usable pictures regarding action, and features. I'll really try to have something by, or during the weekend. Cool? Tom.

So what. My point is that, when I go to a site about recording, there's no reason why I should have to view full-frontal nudity. I don't care if his avatar is a picture of Bob Dole (hey there's a good idea) just as long as it's something that can be viewed in public. This is a public forum, and should be held to standards of what is acceptable in public discourse. No one whips out the porn when they're talking together out on the street.

She's fully covered and couldn't be arrested for indecency anywhere that I know of.

FYI... nipples are covered, and she's wearing a bikini bottom (I'd say, the large picture I have here, that she's clean shaven... no pub's bro). maybe you should invest in some glasses and a new monitor instead of more gear.

Ya know.. here I am, trying to help out some folks, with a shitload of work required on my part, and to get NOTHING out of it other than the simple satisfaction that I my have been able to hook some people up with some neat gear and I get this? What the fuck. Look while the looking's good peeps cause there ain't going to be any more stuff added to the list, and I'm probably going to deep six this thread. Thanx cominginsecond, you just saved me a shit load of work.. BTW, could you please change your nick.. as it refers to ejaculating and sloppy seconds?

You all have valid points. The bottom line though is that there is no nudity (in the american media sense of the word) in his avatar.

Give it a rest already. If you were able to take the time to REALLY inspect my avatar closely enough to make out half a nipple, then you have way too much time on your hands, and if it offends you this much, you obviously don't have enough important shit on your plate to worry about. I'd really appreciate it if you would piss-off out of my thread and take this to the cave if you wish... ...and while you're at it, take that avatar of yours there too... it bears a striking resemblance to my mail man and it's freaking me out.

IMO the human body is a beautiful thing, and when displayed tastefully, is considered art. The avatar is also my screen saver. My wife approves of it. She say's she'd be worried if I had something different, like say a man, on my screen. People who flaunt babies make me a little worried though... can you say pedophilia?
